18-acre parcel off Route 20. Donated in 2018 by Gayl Purinton in honor of her parents, Donald and Barbara Algren.
Surrounded by wooded property owned by the State of Connecticut, Eversource, and the Purinton family on the East Granby-Granby town line. Moderate to thickly wooded, with several vernal pools, a section of stone wall, and crossed by several small streams.

Long, skinny L-shaped area that includes a stream and a long, steep uphill stretch of large loose rock chunks that have fallen down from the ridge where the Metacomet hiking trail runs several hundred feet above.

16-acre parcel at the end of Fieldstone Drive. Donated in 2006 as part of the open space requirement for adjacent subdivision.
Sits at the foot of Peak Mountain and the Metacomet Ridge, abuts another TRLC property, Old Newgate Ridge, which includes the Metacomet Trail. There is an abandoned dam, fields, woodlands, and in rainy years, a small pond.

12-acre parcel at the corner of Holcomb Street and Ezekiel Way (private street). Donated in 2004 as part of the open space requirement for the adjacent subdivision.
This diverse property includes the shallow Holcomb Pond which attracts otters, beavers, migrating birds and other wildlife. A bench overlooks the pond. There is a 2+/- acre field that gets mowed every other year to maintain habitat for ground-nesting birds.

3-acre parcel donated by former board member John Kimberly and his wife Caroline in 1997. This property is landlocked and can only be accessed through private properties.
The parcel includes streams, wet areas and impenetrable sections of multiflora rose. The area that slopes steeply eastward up to the Metacomet Trail is wooded.

This heavily wooded property is crisscrossed by streams and boggy areas and includes vernal pools. There are substantial invasive plant areas. A 6’ wide stream along the eastern boundary flows into Creamery Brook.

6-acre parcel off of Metacomet Drive. Donated in 1979 as part of the open space requirement for adjacent Metacomet subdivision.
Accessed through an overgrown 20’ right of way between 10 and 12 Talcott Range Drive. 90% of the parcel is a flat wetland area, thickly wooded with extensive multiflora rose and high bush blueberry. Wooded properties surround this parcel. Can only be accessed through private property.
24-acre wetland parcel on East Granby/Granby town line just west of Granbrook Park. Donated by Indus Realty Trust (River Bend Holdings) in anticipation of a large solar panel project on adjacent greenhouse areas.
A combination of wooded and wetland areas, including stream areas that feed into Salmon Brook. The east edge of the parcel abuts the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail, which is the only location to access the parcel.
