The Mighty Oaks Giving Circle honors the people, businesses, and foundations making annual gifts (cumulatively) of $500 or more to Traprock Ridge Land Conservancy.
Many of the programs we offer, and natural areas and farms we have protected, are the result of this growing circle of supporters.
The Mighty Oaks Giving Circle makes a significant impact in our region, ensuring wildlife, open spaces, and farms are protected for generations.
We invite you to join this growing and dedicated group. Members of the Mighty Oaks Giving Circle will be invited to special appreciation gatherings.

Connecticut’s State Tree is the White Oak (Quercus alba), specifically the Charter Oak. According to legend, the original state charter was hidden inside a hollow of this large white oak.
White oaks as old as—and older than—the United States still stand across our landscape, serving as landmarks, memorials, and vital habitat for native wildlife.
This photo shows the white oak tree on our Notable Tree Trail at Hawk Hill Farm, 20 Duncaster Road, Bloomfield.
